American Indian Scholars

Location: Seward

Rooted in culturally responsive pedagogy and practices utilizing Dakota and Ojibwe languages, this seven-week camp supports American Indian scholars in building literacy skills and being good relatives with one another.Join us for regular field trips, visits from community members, family nights, culturally-centered arts, sports and other fun activities!

Líderes Bilingües: Verano de Aprendizaje y Aventura

Líderes Bilingües: Verano de Aprendizaje y Aventura es un programa divertido para estudiantes hispanohablantes entrando a 1ro - 6to grados. El programa está diseñado para promover el enriquecimiento de la literatura en español e inglés y a la vez celebrar la identidad cultural. El programa incluye actividades como música, artes, juegos al aire libre, deportes y manualidades. Líderes Bilingües ofrece una experiencia inolvidable de siete semanas durante el verano.

Natural Leaders

Entering Grades 1-9
Location: Whittier

Natural Leaders is a summer-long camp based at Whittier International Elementary School for students entering 1st through 9th grades. Campers discover and protect natural habitats, explore Minneapolis by bicycle, learn how to canoe and kayak, plant gardens, create art, play sports and celebrate the many cultures of our community. Older campers will have the option to attend one overnight camp experience at Campfire MN Retreat in Excelsior. Campers must commit to attending the entire summer.
