Programs are choice-based, providing a variety of experiences that nurture social/emotional development, language and literacy, STEM, active and healthy lifestyles, positive self-image and community connections.

Each day, youth have the opportunity to participate in: planned staff and youth led activities, open-ended play, physical activity during gym and outdoor play, and quiet/homework time.

Before School Early (6:30 open to 7:30-8:25am bell time)	$9.00/day*
Before School Late (6:30 open to 9:10-9:30am bell time)	$18.00/day*
After School Early (2:10-3:05pm bell time to 6pm close)	$24.00/day*
After School Late (3:50-4:10pm bell time to 6pm close) *All rates are subject to change.	$18.00/day*

Fees

A non-refundable annual school-year processing fee of $30 per child.

Transportation

Important Information

Minneapolis Kids serves school-age children enrolled in High Five/Jrs through 5th Grade during the school year.
Families must register for a minimum of two days per week per component (before, after school).
If Minneapolis Kids is not located in your child's school, you may be able to access care at another location. See the Elementary School Locations tab for more information.
Registration must be completed with processing fee received prior to the child’s start date.
Minneapolis Kids sites or components may be closed due to low enrollment.
Children must be able to use the bathroom independently.

Financial Assistance

Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)

Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps families pay for child care so parents can pursue work or school. To see if you qualify for this assistance call 612-348-5937, or apply online at mnbenefits.mn.gov.

Rate Assistance

Loring, Pratt and Webster Minneapolis Kids locations: reduced component rates are available for families that do not qualify for MN Child Care Assistance but are experiencing financial hardship. Rates are determined by school bell times.

Before School Early = $7.25
Before School Late= $14.50
After School Early = $19.50
After School Late= $14.50
